MEET CHLOE MILAR— 8-YEAR-OLD AUTHOR — September 7th AT THE (CEM) Children's Entrepreneur Market
Last week brought two unforgettable milestones for Chloe — moments that lit up her journey as both a young author and a budding entrepreneur.
Chloe made her debut on NBC2’s Stories to Share with Britt Leoni. Filmed at our dining room table, the interview was warm, unscripted, and full of genuine connection.
💬 Highlight moment: Chloe nicknamed Britt “Auntie Britt” before the interview even ended!
📺 The segment introduced viewers to Chloe’s books, her creative spark, and her dream to inspire other kids to follow their ideas, no matter how small they start.
Just days later, Chloe set up shop at her first-ever CEM event.
đź–Š She greeted customers with her signature smile.
📚 Shared her books and coloring pages with families.
đź’µ Handled sales and made change like a pro.
It wasn’t just about selling — it was about connecting, sharing her story, and seeing firsthand how her creativity can make someone’s day brighter.
Between the TV spotlight and her first market booth, Chloe’s confidence has taken a big leap forward. She’s already thinking about her upcoming events and new ways to reach more people with her message: Even the slightest spark can light the way to something greater.
“A Spark-Driven Life is one lived with courage, creativity, and purpose — where even the smallest idea can light the way to something greater.”
A Spark-Driven Life is:
🔥 Fueled by curiosity and imagination
✏️ Expressed through creativity (writing, art, design, invention)
đź’” Healing past hurt by building something new
🌱 Empowering people to create rather than escape
Helping You Rediscover Your Creative Flame — and Light the Way Forward
A spark is that moment of curiosity, creativity, or bold imagination that stirs your soul. It’s the idea you can’t shake. The vision that won’t leave. The quiet whisper inside saying, “What if…?”
Everyone has sparks — but most never let them become anything more.
1. Reclaim the Spark
Think back to something you loved doing as a kid.
What idea keeps returning when your mind wanders?
Ask yourself, “What would I create if there were no limits?”
👉 Try this: Write down 5 things that still make you smile when you remember them. These are clues.
2. Make Space for the Spark
Give yourself 15 minutes a day of creative space. No phone. No agenda. Just exploration.
Keep a “Spark Notebook” — sketch, write, doodle, brainstorm.
Guard this space as you would a meeting with your future.
👉 Tip: Creativity doesn’t require art supplies. It only requires permission.
3. Create Something Small
Write a paragraph, sketch an idea, film a short video, or bake something new.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to exist.
👉 Goal: Prove to yourself that your ideas can come to life.
4. Share It With Someone
A spark becomes a flame when shared. Share your creation with a friend, your child, or even a stranger.
Use Chloe as an example: she started with one idea, and with some help, brought it into the world.
👉 Remember: Your creative expression could help someone else.
5. Keep Going
Resistance will come. Some days will feel flat. Keep going anyway.
A spark needs fuel: encouragement, small wins, reminders of why you started.
Chloe Milar is just 7 years old. But she already understands that your voice matters. Her books, art, and videos come from a simple desire: to remind people of what they can create — no matter their age.
She believes you have something inside you, too.
Most people never write the book inside them (spark).
They tell themselves they’re too old. Too young. Too busy. Not qualified. Not creative enough.
But Chloe — a 7-year-old first grader and published author — doesn’t believe that.
And she’s got a message for you:
✨ It’s not too late. It’s not too early. It’s your story. And the world needs it. ✨
Chloe’s journey started with a spark:
An idea about a girl who takes brave little steps.
With help from her family, that spark became a book. Then two. Then a series. And now? Chloe’s turning that spark into a mission — to help other kids (and even grown-ups!) discover the joy of telling their stories.
Chloe was born in the Philippines and recently moved to Florida.
She knows that in many parts of the world, creative talents are often seen as hobbies — not real opportunities.
But she believes something different.
"You don’t need to wait for someone to give you permission," Chloe says.
"If you want to share your heart, you can write it out loud."
She hopes other kids — especially those from places where creative freedom feels limited — will see that their imagination can be powerful. Even life-changing.
Chloe attends an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. Her journey as a young author fits naturally with the IB mission to create “inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.”
Through her books and videos, Chloe shares a simple but powerful lesson:
📝 You are never too small to make a big difference.

Chloe's books are deeply personal and grounded in her everyday experiences — including her real-life 1957 red Crosley truck, her community, her family’s immigration journey, and the friendships she forms along the way. These aren’t just children's stories; they’re memories told through a child’s eyes.

How I Wrote My First Book at 7 Years Old
Chloe’s Journey from First Draft to PublishingÂ
🗓️ Posted: June 2025 | ✍️ By Chloe Milar – Fort Myers, FL            Â
Hi! I’m Chloe.
When I was 7, I moved to America with my mommy. Everything felt new — the school, the people, and even the snacks!
At first, I was a little scared. I didn’t know how to write in English yet. But I loved to draw little houses and write stories in my notebook.
That’s when my daddy said, “Why don’t you turn one of your stories into a real book?”
So I did!
My first book is called The Little House.
It’s about a small house and a big dream. Just like me — small girl, big dreams!
Writing the book was fun. I got to pick the pictures, design the cover, and even choose the colors.
My mommy helped me with spelling. My daddy helped me upload it to Amazon.
I felt so proud when we held the book in our hands for the first time.
Now I’ve written four books, and I’m just getting started!
“You don’t have to wait to be big to do something big.” Â

If you’re a kid like me and you have an idea — write it down.
Draw it. Share it!
You never know how far your little steps can go.
